Dorothy M. EMANUEL

Dorothy M. EMANUEL, 76, of Lakewood, Colo., died Sunday, July 15, 2001, in Denver, Colo.

The body was cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Streed officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. EMANUEL was born Sept. 14, 1924, in Fairfield, the daughter of Clay and Verna HARWOOD. She married Donald E. EMANUEL April 18, 1942. He died in 1977.

She graduated from Fairfield High School and was a legal secretary for the law office of Booker Smith in Fairfield. She moved to Denver, Colo., in 1981.

She was a member of the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Marty JOHNSON and husband Dick of Denver; three grandchildren; three sisters, Kathryn STEPHENSON of San Antonio, Texas, Beverly STREED of Longview, Texas, and Carolyn FARMER of Bakersfield, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
