Private Funeral Services Tomorrow at 1:30 O'clockMrs. Martha ELLIS, resident of Fairfield for the past fifty years, died at her home here yesterday afternoon about 2 oclock at the age of 71 years. Private funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 oclock from the Hoskins funeral home in charge of Rev. E. C. Allen with buriel (sic) in Evergreen cemetery. Friends may call at the Hoskins funeral home.
Mrs. ELLIS is survived by three children, Mrs. Rosa PRICE and Fred Anthony ELLIS of Fairfield and Harry ELLIE (sic) of Lincoln, Neb. and Harry ELLIS of Lincoln, Neb. (sic) MILLER, of Superior, Ariz., one grandson, Fred PRICE and one great grand daughter, Betty Rose PRICE.

Martha ELLIS
Mrs. Martha ELLIS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry MILLER was born in Richmond, Raye Co., Mo., in 1860. Departed this life Tuesday April 14, at 2 p. m. 1931.
She came to Fairfield with her parents when a young women (sic).
She was married to James ANTHONY and to this union were born four children.
James, her husband, and George the eldest son, preceded her in death in 1891.
Later she was married to Sam ELLIS who also preceded her in death.
She was a lovable disposition and a kind and patient mother.
She had many friends of both groups who held her in high esteem.
She professed a hope in Christ and was baptised in the A. M. E. church, and was a constant attendant save for the past few years.
She leaves to mourn her loss Rosa E. PRICE and Fred ANTHONY of Fairfield, Harry ANTHONY of Lincoln, Neb., and one brother T. A. MILLER of Superior, Ariz., one grandson Fred PRICE and a great grand daughter Betty Rose PRICE of Fairfield.
