Grave services for V. ELLIOTT

Varilla M. ELLIOTT, 87, 303 E. Broadway, died at 7:50 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson County Hospital.

Family graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Kincaid will officiate.

The casket will be closed and friends may call to register at the Behner Funeral Home after noon Sunday.

Varilla M. ELLIOTT was born Oct. 14, 1896, in Glendale. She was the daughter of William Riley and Willa MINS SMITH. Her marriage to L. Curtis ELLIOTT took place Sept. 28, 1918, in Fairfield. He died in April, 1962. Mrs. ELLIOTT was the last of her family of 13 brothers and sisters. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by a son, Robert ELLIOTT; and a daughter, Maxine EASTBURN, both of Fairfield; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
