Colton James ELDER

BATAVIA -- Colton James ELDER, 3 months, of rural Batavia, died Thursday, May 11, 1995, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Dick Speight officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Fairfield. Family visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to donor's choice.

Colton was born Jan. 13, 1995, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center, the son of Robert E. and Sara I. PAULOS ELDER.

He is survived by his parents; a brother, Mason PAULOS, 4; grandparents, Jim and Robin ELDER of Batavia, Dube and Linda PAULOS of Ottumwa; great-grandparents, Lillian ELDER TAYLOR of Oklahoma, Ray and Doris CARTER of Fairfield, Harold and Helen LIVINGSTON, Nathan and Maxine PAULOS, all of Ottumwa; and a step-great-grandfather, Earl TAYLOR of Oklahoma. A great-grandfather, Eugene ELDER, preceded him in death.

CARD OF THANKS

We don't know how to thank everyone for all the love and support you have given us through the loss of Colton. We received calls, visits, memorials, cards, food, hugs, and prayers from so many people. Whatever you did, even if you just thought of us, we are so very grateful. We want to give a special thanks to the Reverend Dick Speight of Ottumwa, The Ottumwa Hospital, The Fairfield Ambulance staff and the Batavia First Responders. A special thanks to Mike Drish. We know you did everything you could for Colton. Thanks to Arlene Davidson for keeping Mason. A special thank you to all of our family for being there for us. May God bless each and every one of you.
