Bessie ELDER rites set

Bessie E. ELDER, 88, Parkview Care Center, died Sunday at 4:45 p.m., at Jefferson County Hospital.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m., at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials are requested for First Lutheran Church.

Miss ELDER was born Oct. 28, 1892 in Fairfield, the daughter of C.C. and Frances HACKETT ELDER. After working at Fairfield Glove for 50 years, she retired and moved to Bettendorf. She moved to Parkview Care Center in April, 1980. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a niece, Phyllis RANK and a nephew, Donald ELDER, both of Bettendorf. Her parents, a brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
