MRS. EDMOND (sic) PASSES AWAY
Funeral services to be held here on Friday afternoon

Mrs. Harriett Ellen EDMOND (sic - EDMONDS), about 85, former Fairfield resident, passed away Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Miss Mae EDMOND at Des Moines (note: in Polk Co., IA).

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Hoskins Funeral Home.

Mrs. EDMOND had lived a good many years in Fairfield and has many friends and acquaintances here. She was a member of the Hawkeye Rebekah Lodge No. 386 and of the Women's Relief Corps.

She is survived by her daughter, Miss EDMOND; and by two sons, Max of Seattle and Herbert of San Antonio, Texas. Another son Francis, died a number of years ago. He was employed at Herrings' Grocery.

Rebekahs and WRC's Will Attend EDMOND Funeral In Body

The officers and members of Hawkeye Rebekah Lodge No. 386 and of the George Strong Corps W. R. C. are requested to attend the funeral of Mrs. Harriett EDMOND in a body. They are asked to meet promptly at 12:45 o'clock at the Hoskins funeral home. The funeral services will be at 1:00 o'clock at the Hoskins funeral home.

Note: Buried in Lot 2nd.251. Her maiden name was SHAW, and she was married to Charles EDMONDS who died in 1894 in Baltimore, MD; however, where he was buried is not known as of this posting. Harriett shares her gravestone with their son Francis who died in 1923.
