EASTON Funeral Will Be Friday

Mrs. Harvey L. EASTON, 105 South C, died at 9:30 a.m. today at the Fairfield Convalescent Home following an extended illness.

Last rites will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Dilley in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Emma Lou EASTON, 84, was born June 8, 1886, at Topeka, Kan., the daughter of James and Nancy Ellen McCLURE ERWIN (sic - IRWIN). She moved to Fairfield at the age of five and was reared and educated in this community. She attended Parsons College.

Her marriage to Harvey L. EASTON took place in Fairfield June 8, 1909. He died Dec. 20, 1962. EASTON was a former Ford car dealer in Fairfield and later served as clerk of the water department for a number of years.

The last of her family, Mrs. EASTON was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, DAR, and Abracadabra.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Wilbur MAYER, Fairfield; two step grandchildren, George MAYER, San Francisco, and Mrs. James "Ann" FLEMING, Dallas, Texas; two step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Attend Funeral

Relatives here to attend the funeral of Mrs. Harvey L. EASTON, on Friday morning at the Raymond Funeral Home were her grandson, George MAYER of San Francisco, Calif.; her sister-in-law, Mrs. James E. IRWIN of Brighton and cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Monte PARSONS of Burlington.

Mrs. EASTON's granddaughter, Mrs. James FLEMING of Dallas, Texas, had planned to come but was fogged in at the airport for five hours and was unable to get a flight here.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Emma Lou EASTON, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate of Emma Lou EASTON Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 25th day of January, 1971, the Last Will and Testament of Emma Lou EASTON deceased bearing date of the 14th day of January, 1965, was admitted to probate in the above named Court and that Martha Jane MAYER was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said Will must be brought in the District Court of said County within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the Clerk of the above named District Court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
