Death of Clara DUNLAP.

Miss Clara M. DUNLAP, daughter of William DUNLAP of Salina, died in Kansas City Sunday night, whither her father had taken her with the hope that a trip west would improve her health. She had been ill with consumption for several months, but her condition at the time of starting was not considered critical as it afterward proved to be. Miss DUNLAP was in the twenty-fifth year of her age. She grew to womanhood in this county and enjoyed a wide acquaintance in all portions of it. She was a bright, ambitious girl, possessed of a disposition and character such as won her many warm friends. Her death is a sad blow to the surviving members of the family and they have the deepest sympathy of a wide circle of friends in their bereavement. The remains were brought here Monday night and will be buried this afternoon. The funeral occurs from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. T. Y. Lynch.
