Dies Tuesday evening at home just north of FairfieldMrs. Bessie BRAWNER DuBOIS, 51, passed away at her home one-half mile northeast of Fairfield Tuesday evening at 10:15 p.m. Mrs. DuBOIS was born Oct. 16, 1887 in Delavan, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband, William M. DuBOIS; two daughters, Kathryn of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Esther, at home; a son, Brawner of Waterloo, and her father W. C. BRAWNER of Fairfield. Mrs. DuBOIS' mother preceded her in death several years ago.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Murray Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. William DuBOIS will be held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the family home one-half mile northwest of the city. Services will be in charge of Dr. M. A. Gable. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Friends may call at the family residence until noon on Friday.
