DROZ Rites Thursday

Burial services will be held in Evergreen Cemetery Thursday for Tracy Marie DROZ, 74, former resident of Fairfield who died Monday at the Jefferson County Hospital.

The body was taken to the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Following the services the casket will be returned to Fairfield and Evergreen Cemtery where committal services will be held.

Tracy Marie DROZ was born May 2, 1900, in Tindall, Mo., the daughter of Benjamin and Mary FROMAN CRUTCHER.

She was married Dec. 9, 1921, to Victor J. DROZ at Trenton, Mo. They made their home in Cedar Rapids from 1925 to 1960, and following retirement lived in Fairfield until 1968. Mrs. DROZ had made her home in Wellman the past six years. Her husband preceded her in death in 1968.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Jack DROZ, Wellman; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie SWAN, Kansas City, Kansas; and Mrs. Sadie BARRETT, who lives in California. She was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters.
