DROZ Funeral to Be Monday

Mrs. Joseph DROZ, former well known resident of Fairfield, died Friday evening in a nursing home in Elgin, Ill., where she had been a patient for some time.

Last rites will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic church with the Rev. Francis Henricksen in charge. Bural (sic) will be in Evergreen cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at the Raymond funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Margaret DILLON DROZ, 86, was born March 29, 1877, in Illinois. She was married to Joseph C. DROZ who preceded his wife in death on July 5, 1949. Mrs. DROZ was a member of the St. Mary Catholic church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anna KASAUSKY (sic - KASOWSKY), Ottumwa, and Mrs. Margaret MEYER, who lives in Wisconsin; two sons, Albert DROZ, Elgin, Ill., and Joe DROZ, who lives in California.

Eight grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters also survive.
