Mrs. DROZ, 79, Taken In Death

Mrs. Louis DROZ, 79, died Sunday at 6:30 a.m. at her home at 106 W. Stone. She had been seriously ill for the past week.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. John Davis. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. DROZ was born Jan. 29, 1887 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Andrew and Rosabel PATTISON SPEER. She was reared and educated in this county. She was married to Louis DROZ.

Mrs. DROZ was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Harley, Lloyd, Clarence and Charles DROZ, all of Fairfield; Dale DROZ, Louisville, Ky.; Mrs. Esther JACQUIN, Moline, Ill.; and Mrs. Leonard HENDRICKS, Fairfield.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 14 great - grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Harry GRISSOM, and one brother, Floyd SPEER, both of Fairfield.
