Page Eight, Column 3Former Resident Dies In Ottumwa
Mrs. W. M. DOWNEY of Ottumwa, miother of Mrs. A. J. BOYD of this city, died last evening in the home of her daughter, with whom she has lived for a number of years. She had never completely recovered from the effects of a fall suffered a year ago.
She resided in Fairfield a number of years ago, moving to Ottumwa following the death of her husband 24 years ago.
The body will be brought to Fairfield for burial, following funeral services in Eldon.
She is survived by four children, a son, Clarence DOWNEY, Newark, New Jersey; Mrs. BOYD, Mrs. Bertha DUNHUM, Ottumwa, and a son, Orcal (sic - Orville) TROXEL, by a former marriage. There are also 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
