--Mrs. Bell DOWNER, wife of Mr. W. E. DOWNER, the auctioneer, died yesterday afternoon, of lung fever, at her residence, corner 3d East and 4th South streets, at the early age of 23 years. The husband is entitled to the sympathy of the community in this hour of his sore trial and bereavement. The funeral services were held at the late residence this afternoon at three o'clock.

... Wednesday, in this city, occurred the death of Mrs. Belle DOWNER, wife of W. E. DOWNER, aged twenty-three years. She left two children, one a boy of two years, the other a babe but a few days old, and which has since died. The remains were interred in this city Thursday. The family formerly lived in Muscatine. ...
