DORAN RITES THURSDAY

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Fred DORAN who passed away in Waukegan, Ill. She was the former Anna SULLIVAN and was born and reared in Fairfield. Her parents were James and Margaret FINDLEY SULLIVAN, of this city. Her father operated a grocery business here a number of years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 o'clock Thursday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church, in charge of Rev. Father H. M. Thoman. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen cemetery. The body will arrive in Fairfield and be taken to the Hoskins Funeral Home tomorrow morning.

Mrs. DORAN is survived by her husband, Fred DORAN of Waukegan, and by a brother, Dan SULLIVAN of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Mrs. Bruce RUSSELL, 205 North 9th St., is a cousin of Mrs. DORAN. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Hugh, and one sister, Nellie.

Anna SULLIVAN DORAN was gifted with an unusually beautiful voice. She studied music in Chicago following her graduation from the Fairfield high school in 1900, and for a number of years she sang with the Chicago Grand Opera Company. She also sang for a time with the Metropolitan Opera Company in New York.

Say Rosary Tonight For Mrs. DORAN

The Rosary will be recited for Mrs. Fred DORAN at 8:00 o'clock this evening at the Hoskins funeral home. Funeral services for Mrs. DORAN, the former Anna SULLIVAN, will be held at 9:00 Thursday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.

... --Coming from a distance to attend the funeral services for Mrs. Fred DORAN held this morning at the local Catholic church were Mr. and Mrs. Dan SULLIVAN of Council Bluffs brother and sister-in-law of Mrs. DORAN, and her two cousins Miss Kathleen O'DONNELL and sister, Miss Bernadeen O'DONNELL of Des Moines. Mr. DORAN had accompanied the body here from their home in Waukegan.
