Mrs. Neta DONOVAN, 63, died Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. at University hospital in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA). She had been seriously ill since last September.
Mrs. DONOVAN made her home at 205 N. Sixth St. Most of her life was spent in Fairfield.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. J. P. Foster, former local pastor. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. DONOVAN was born April 19, 1896 at Martinsburg, the daughter of William K. and Permelia WEEKS CATHEY. She was married to Edward R. DONOVAN Dec. 22, 1937. She was a member of the Methodist church, Rebekah Lodge No. 386 and the Degree of Honor.
Surviving are her husband, a patient at the University hospital, and one daughter, Mrs. PEARSON, Alta Loma, Calif. Other survivors are four grandchildren; a twin sister, Mrs. Nina SMITH, Fairfield; and a brother, Tom CATHEY, Mt. Pleasant. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
