LOCAL MISCELLANY.

... Ida, wife of W. E. DONALDSON, of Ottumwa and formerly of this city, died in the Mt. Pleasant hospital for the insane, where she had been a patient for several years, Monday (note: in Henry Co., IA). The remains were brought to this city for interment yesterday.

... The remains of Mrs. Will DONALDSON, who died at the asylum in Mt. Pleasant on Monday, were brought here for interment Tuesday morning, the funeral taking place from the residence of C. D. DONALDSON. Deceased was a former resident here. She was a sister to Miss Elma SWEENEY, well known as a former teacher.

Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in Lot Old.P.283, with no gravestone. Husband William E. DONALDSON remarried to a woman named Adelaide, died in Los Angeles, CA, in 1929, and was buried in CA. The C. D. DONALDSON in the obituary is William's father, Charles.
