Page 3, Column 3Death of Mrs. DONALDSON.
Margaret McGINLEY, wife of Charles D. DONALDSON, died in this city Monday. She had been seriously ill for three months past. Mrs. DONALDSON was born in Adams county, Penn, January (sic - February) 21st, 1821, and grew to womanhood there. She was married October 10th, 1850, in the same county. Three children were born of this marriage, two of whom are yet living in this city, Mrs. G. W. GILCHRIST and W. E. DONALDSON. Mrs. DONALDSON united with the Presbyterian church at March Creek, Penn., at an early age, and with the congregation of the same denomination in this city shortly after the family came here, in 1856. She was not only a faithful member of the church of her choice, but her life was always that of a consistent, christian woman. By her neighborly attentions and kindly ministrations she had won a warm place in the affections of many people in this city, which was her home for nearly half a century. The remains were interred yesterday afternoon, Rev. J. G. Condit conducting the funeral service.
