HENRY DIERS RITES, HOSKINS

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Hoskins funeral home for Henry DIERS, 87, who passed away at the Jefferson county hospital this morning at 5 a.m. He had been in failing health the past six months and seriously ill the past two months. The Rev. Paul Kenyon will be in charge of the services and interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. DIERS was born February 18, 1858 in Germanville, Ia. and resided in the Germanville vicinity 62 years. He was baptized and confirmed in the Germanville Lutheran church when a child. On October 28, 1880 he was married to Anna WERNER who preceded him in death, February 5, 1938. He moved to Fairfield in March 1920.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John CRILE, Fairfield and Mrs. Alex DOBRAS, Pleasant Plain; four sons: A. B. of Smithshire, Ill.; Jacob and Glen, Fairfield; and Fred, Lockridge; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank of Fairfield.

ADMINISTRATOR'S NOTICE

Public Notice is Hereby Given:

That the undersigned has this day been appointed and commissioned by the District Court of Jefferson County, in the State of Iowa, administrator of the estate of Henry DIERS, Deceased.

All persons having claims against said estate are hereby notified to file them with the Clerk of said court, clearly stated and duly sworn to, and within legal time, preparatory to their being allowed or proved, and persons owing said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned and avoid costs.

Dated at Fairfield, Iowa, this 22nd day of June, A. D. 1945.
