Funeral Services to be Held Monday Afternoon at 2 o'clockMrs. Anna Frederic FLINSPACH DIERS, wife of the late John DIERS, passed away at her home 307 East Burlington street at 12:30 o'clock this morning following a long illness. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence in charge of Rev. W. F. Rex of the First Lutheran church. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. DIERS was born in Iowa June 21, 1864 and has lived in Jefferson county practically all of her life. She was married on February 26, 1885 to John DIERS after which they lived in Buchanan township moving to the city of Fairfield twelve years ago. She was well known in Fairfield and will be greatly missed in this community.
Mr. DIERS preceded her in death April 20, 1930.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sylvester LIBLIN of Fairfield and Mrs. Ralph MESSER of Brighton. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Thomas THOMPSON of Brighton, Mrs. Alec GORDON of Bennington, Neb.; Mrs. Preston GORDON of Spokane, Wash.; Gustav Edward, Frank Robert and Fred FLINSPACH of Fairfield. She was also preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.
