DEATH CLAIMS HELEN DICKEY

Mrs. Helen M. DICKEY, well-known former Fairfield resident, died yesterday afternoon in Schenectady, N. Y., after being in failing health for several years. She was 72.

Mrs. DICKEY spent her entire life in Fairfield until moving to Schenectady to make her home with her son, Fred DICKEY, Jr., last year.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of Dr. L. L. Weis. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will arrive in Fairfield Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. DICKEY was born in Fairfield Oct. 2, 1880 (sic - 1879), the daughter of Frank and Sadie WILLIS SIMPSON. She was married to Fred E. DICKEY Dec. 1, 1903. He preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1945.

Mrs. DICKEY was a member of the Methodist church.

In addition to her son, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John CORDES, Pasadena, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. Charles ROSS, Fairfield. Four grandchildren also survive. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

EXECUTOR'S NOTICE

Public Notice Is Hereby Given:

That the undersigned has this day been appointed and commissioned by the District Court of Jefferson County, in the State of Iowa, Executor of the estate of Helen M. DICKEY, Deceased.

All persons having claims against said estate are hereby notified to file them with the Clerk of said Court, clearly stated and duly sworn to, and within legal time, preparatory to their being allowed or proved, and persons owing said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned and avoid costs.

Dated at Fairfield, Iowa, this 12th day of November, 1952.
