FRED E. DICKEY DIES SUDDENLY

Fred E. DICKEY, 72, prominent Fairfield resident, apssed away suddenly this morning about 10:30 a.m. at his home, 401 South Main St.

Mr. DICKEY was born Dec. 6, 1873, near Richmond, Missouri, the son of the late Martha and Eli DICKEY. He was united in marriage to Helen SEMPSON (sic - SIMPSON) December 1, 1903, who survives. Mr. DICKEY was a member of the Methodist church and of the Masonic Lodge and was a retired Milwaukee railroad employee.

Other survivors are one daughter, Mrs. John CORDES of Pasadena, Calif.; one son, Fred E. DICKEY, Jr. of Schenectady, New York; one sister, Mrs. A. D. LONG of Fairfield and one half brother, Charley DICKEY of St. Joseph, Missouri.

Funeral arrangements are pending. The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home.

Fred E. DICKEY Rites Sunday At Behner's

Funeral services for Fred E. DICKEY, 72, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m., from the Weston Behner Funeral Home. Dr. Lloyd Scheerer will officiate and burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.

MRS. DICKEY TO ACCOMPANY DAUGHTER TO PASADENA

John CORDES is returning to his home in Pasadena, Calif., today, his wife, the former Martha DICKEY, remaining here for a 10-day longer stay. The CORDES' were called here by the death of Mrs. CORDES' father, F. E. DICKEY. Their three children Joyce 9, Jean 6 and Jack, 13 months remained with Mr. CORDES' mother, Mrs. Myrtle CORDES, who came from her home in Riverside, Calif. to care for them during their parent's absence.

Mrs. DICKEY will accompany her daughter back to Pasadena to make her home for the present. Fred DICKEY, also called here by the death of his father, is returning to his work with the General Electric in New York, the end of the week.
