DEATH CLAIMS MRS. DELGADO

Gertrude DELGADO, 68, residet of Perlee, Iowa, for 23 years, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson county hospital. She had been in poor health for sometime and seriously ill the past six weeks.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic church with Rev. Father H. M. Thoman in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Friends may call at the Joskins funeral home at 8:00 p.m. this evening.

Mrs. DELGADO was born October 15, 1879, in Mexico City, Mexico. She had been a resident of this county for 23 years.

She is survived by her husband, Evaristo DELGADO, Perlee; a daughter, Agustina RAMOS, Chicago; and a stepson, Antonio DELGADO, Mexico City. A granddaughter, Connie Lou BATTIN, also survives.

Note: Buried in Lot Old.P.086. Husband Evaristo subsequently remarried, to Ignacia Ricardo RODRIGUEZ MURGUIA, died in 1961, and is buried with Gertrude but does not have a gravestone. Gertrude's parents were listed as "UNKNOWN" on her death certificate.
