Death Notices

Evaristo DELGADO

Evaristo DELGADO, 78, of 313 S. Ninth, died Saturday in his home after an extended illness.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic church, preceded by brief family prayers at 10:45 a.m. at the Giles funeral home. Burial will be at Fairfield, The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

DELGADO was born Oct. 26, 1882, in Mexico the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jose Marino DELGADO. He was retired from the Rock Island railroad.

Surviving are his wife, Ignacia, whom he married June 30, 1948, at Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Augustine RAMOS, Chicago, Ill.; a son, Antinio DELGADO, Mexico City, Mexico; a sister, Petra DELGADO, San Fernando, Calif.; nine stepchildren; and six grandchildren. His parents are dead.
