Death Comes To Mrs. DALLNER

Mrs. Lorena DALLNER, 98, former longtime resident of Jefferson County, died early this morning at the Hershey Nursing Home in Muscatine (note: in Muscatine Co., IA).

The body is at the Raymond Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

Lorena DALLNER was born Feb. 17, 1872, in Henry County, the daughter of Peter W. and Catherine HALL LYON. She would have been 99 next week.

She was married March 27, 1895, to Fred S. DALLNER who preceded his wife in death April 27, 1953. She was also preceded in death by one sister, four brothers, and one great-grandchild.

Six children survive. They are Espy and Rex DALLNER, both of Fairfield; Dale, Des Moines; Mrs. Emerson MASDEN, Fairfield; Mrs. Phil KOPP, Muscatine; and Beatrice, Ottumwa.

Other survivors include eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

DALLNER Rites

Funeral services for Mrs. Lorena DALLNER will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., at the Raymond Funeral Home. The Rev. Wilson Hyde will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. DALLNER died Saturday at the Hershey Nursing Home in Muscatine.
