Rex DALLNER rites Wednesday

Rex O. DALLNER, 88, 503 E. Pierce, died at 1 a.m. Sunday at Nelson Nursing Home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience at the funeral home beginning Tuesday morning. Memorials have been established to the Salina Cemetery Association and the Salina Presbyterian Church.

DALLNER was born Dec. 7, 1897 in Lockridge Township near Salina, the son of Fred and Lorena LYON DALLNER. He farmed in the Richwood Community until his retirement in 1969, when he and his wife moved to Fairfield. On Aug. 10, 1937, at Grand Forks, N.D., he married Mildred SANDELL, who survives.

Also surviving are a brother, Dale DALLNER of Des Moines; three sisters, Eileen MASDEN of Fairfield, Erma KOPP of Muscatine, Beatrice DALLER of Ottumwa; five nieces and three nephews. A brother preceded him in death.

DALLNER was a member of Keep Young Club.

The family of Rex DALLNER wishes to thank all those who brought food, sent flowers, cards and letters and contributed to memorials. A special thanks to Reverend Odell for his sermon and to Raymond Funeral Home for their many kindnesses.
