Mr. and Mrs. J. Edwin CURL awoke Saturday morning about 6 o'clock and found their eight weeks' old babe, Harry Lavere, dead in his cradle by their bedside. The child had been strong and virogous and had manifested no stymptoms of illness when the parents retired the night before. Dr. Fordyce, who was called immediately in the hope that resuscitation might be possible, gives it as his opinion that the little fellow was strangled by the bed clothing while attempting to change his position. Funeral services were held Sabbath afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. J. F. Magill, and the remains were interred in the Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. CURL wish to thank the friends and neighbors who showed them so many kindnesses in their affliction.
