Meda Mae Yarnell
July 01, 2005Meda Mae Yarnell, 94, 411 N. Main St., Stockport, died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The funeral is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Stockport Christian Church in Stockport, with the Rev. Ted Morelock officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Stockport American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Yarnell was born July 8, 1910, in Stockport, the daughter of Clark and Katie Edith Watson Anderson. She married Fayette McKee. He died in 1952. She married Paul Yarnell Aug. 21, 1986. He died Sept. 17, 1992.
She lived in the Stockport community most of her life. She graduated from Stockport High School in 1930. During World War II, she worked for the Telephone Company in California. She was postmaster of the Stockport Post Office from 1953 to 1955.
Mrs. Yarnell was a homemaker and enjoyed riding horses. She was a member of Stockport Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star and a 50-year member of Stockport American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
In addition to both her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Milo, Daryl and LaVerne Anderson.
