Frances Elizabeth Ireland, 78 1000 Liberty Drive, Fairfield, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The body will be cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Batavia Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ireland was born Feb. 28, 1927, the daughter of Ernest A. and Helen E. Clark Teeter. She married Hubert Junior Ireland Jr. April 15, 1945, in Fairfield. He died Dec. 17, 2004.

She grew up in the Batavia and Packwood communities. She attended school at Batavia and graduated from Packwood High School in 1944.

Mrs. Ireland and her husband lived their entire married life in Libertyville and Fairfield.

She worked at the Libertyville Savings Bank and later as deputy auditor at the Jefferson County Auditor's Office.

She was an active member of the Heritage Club.

Survivors include one daughter, Judi Wright of Grass Valley, Calif.; and one son, Frank Ireland of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Elmer Teeter of Fairfield and Bernard Teeter of Henderson, Ky.; and one sister, Joan Tedrow of Fairfield.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
