Donald Lee BROWN

Donald Lee BROWN, 69, of Burlington, died Saturday, June 18, 2005, in the Bahamas.

A memorial service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Friends can begin signing the register after 5 p.m. Sunday.

A memorial has been established.

Mr. BROWN was born July 3, 1935, in Fairfield, the son of Clifford and Gladys SINCLAIR BROWN. He married Joyce BLOUGH April 25, 1957. The couple was later divorced.

He lived most of his life in Fairfield, but lived in Burlington for the past 10 years. He was employed by Precision Resistive Products.

Mr. BROWN's hobbies included dancing and golfing. He was a member of Fairfield Eagles Lodge No. 1927 and Congenial 100, D. Anthony Swing Club in Iowa City.

Survivors include one son, Doug BROWN and wife Brenda of Fairfield; one daughter Michelle SMITH and husband Dwayne of Delta; one sister, Dorothy CURREN of Ottumwa; special friend, Trudy Ward; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Guy JONES; and one infant son, Danny Kirk.
