Wilfred Guenther, 78, of Crofon, Neb., died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, after a lenghy illness.

The funeral was scheduled for today at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Crofon.

Mr. Guenther was a long-time farmer in northeast Nebraska.

Survivors include his children, Diane Goudy of Fairfield, Marcia of San Francisco, Calif., Karen, Pat and Beth of Omaha, Neb., and Duane of Crofon; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
