Dennis L. Stark, 62, of Elko, Nev., died early Thursday, June 16, 2005, at his home.

In accordance with Mr. Stark's wishes, there will be no funeral services.

Mr. Stark was born Jan. 12, 1943, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Harley and Eileen Nelson Stark. He married Phyllis Moore July 31, 1965.

He attended the Round Prairie School in Jefferson County through the eighth grade and high school in Stockport.

He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic at Newmont Mining Corporation in Elko since 1992. He and his family lived in Lander, Wyo., since 1971 where he ran his own auto mechanic and satellite TV businesses. He liked machine work, building high performance engines, airplanes and NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife; four children, Dion Stark and wife Jill of Riverton, Wyo., Troy Stark and wife Kim of West Jordan, Utah, Jody Erhart and husband Adam of Lander, Wyo., and Michaela Anderson and husband Pat of Hudson, Wyo.; three brothers, Larry Stark, Steve Stark and Richard Tyner; three sisters, Cheryl Giberson, Kandi Stark-Reeder and Kim Griep; his father, George D. Tyner; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
