Patricia C. Cole, 60, of Mount Pleasant died Monday, June 20, 2005, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Jason Unzicker officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the memorial chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.

The Patricia Cole Memorial has been established.

Mrs. Cole was born Jan. 3, 1945, in Burlington, the daughter of Willis Burl and Helen M. Lee Lamm. She married John Cole in July 11, 1970 in Mount Pleasant.

Mrs. Cole was a 1965 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School.

She was a resident of Mount Pleasant most of her life.

She was a homemaker and worked for the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown for 10 years.

Mrs. Cole enjoyed being with her family. Her pastimes included listening to country music, especially the music of Alan Jackson, shopping and spending time with friends. She also liked animals.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Brandi Kumar and her husband Arvinder of Groton, Conn.; and two sisters, Joyce McIntosh of Keosauqua and Darla Meyer of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
