CRILE Funeral To Be Monday

Mrs. John P. CRILE, native of Jefferson county, died about 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Briggs-Eskew Nursing home. Her death was caused by a stroke.

She had been in failing health the past year and seriously ill the past four weeks.

Last rites will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Lutheran church with the Rev. Harold Kruger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will be taken from the Raymond funeral home to the church at 1 p.m. the day of the service.

Sophia I. CRILE, 81, was born Feb. 9, 1881, in the Richwoods community northeast of Fairfield. She was the daughter of Henry and Anna WARNER DIERS. She was reared and educated in the Richwoods community, and on Feb. 7, 1906, was married to John P. CRILE.

A member of the Lutheran church, she had made her home in Fairfield the past 35 years. The family home is at 407 W. Broadway.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three bothers (sic), Fred DIERS, Lockridge; Jake and Glen both of Fairfield; also one sister, Mrs. V. A. DOBRAS, Fairfield, along with several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. CRILE was preceded in death by her parents, one son who died at the age of seven, and a brother.
