JAMES C. CRAIL DIES SUDDENLY
Heart Failure Causes Death Of Well Known Young Fairfield Man

James C. CRAIL, well known young man of this city, died suddenly last night of heart failure at his home 602 South Second street. He had appared (sic) in his usual health and had been chatting with the members of his family only a few moments before, and listening to his wife play the piano. He left the room and went out into the yard, and was scarcely missed until he was found lying dead a short distance from the house. Death occurred about 11 o'clock.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the late home and will be conducted by Dr. C. L. Tennant of the First Methodist church. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

James Charles CRAIL, son of B. F. and Mary E. CRAIL, was born in Fairfield December 11, 1892, and has spent all of his life here. He was educated in the public schools and then spent a year at Wentworth Military academy at Lexington, Mo.

He married Miss Margaret McDONALD February 22, 1914 and to them was born one daughter, Margaret Elizabeth. He was baptized when two years old and became a member of the Methodist church eight years ago.

FUNERAL FOR JAMES CRAIL HELD YESTERDAY

Funeral services for James C. CRAIL were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from his home, 602 South Second street in charge of Dr. C. L. Tennant. "Abide with Me" and "Lead Kindly Light" were sang (sic) by a quartet composed of Mesdames Charlotte Pierson and C. M. Graham and Paul Coleson and J. H. Stuckey. The pallbeares were: L. E. Whitney, Fred McClain, S. E. DuVall, Reinhold King, Zella Brown and Roy Jewell.

Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.
