Donna Darlene VanLANINGHAM, 89, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at the Jefferson County Health Center. Visitation for family & friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at Behner Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 26, at Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Memorials may be made to Parkinson's Disease and mailed to Larry VanLANINGHAM, 2182 Smoke Tree Ave., Lockridge, IA 52635.

Donna was born June 28, 1931, on the family farm in Van Buren County to Harvey Harold and Audrey "Oletha" (RUSSELL) SEDORE. She married Carlos VanLANINGHAM on March 27, 1954, in Tucson, Ariz. He passed away in 2006.

Donna worked as Dick Perkins Dental Assistance (sic) through high school and shortly after. She later worked at Universal Production from 1957-1963. Some of Donna's hobbies were sewing, rug making, bowling, quilting, crafts, loom work and doing puzzles.

Donna will be missed by her sons, Ron (Karen KITTRELL) of Bloomfield and Larry (Susan BOOTH) of Lockridge; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Oletha; two brothers and four sisters.
