MRS. WILLIAM MARION. This good woman and well known pioneer of Jefferson County died at their home near Batavia Nov. 8 1889 .....She was Clarissa Eller, born in North Carolina in 1829, came to Iowa in 1838 and to Jefferson County in 1843; married to William Marion Dec. 9 1849. They buried four children, and their daughters, Mrs. Priscilla Whitmore and Mrs. Calista Sidoris, Big Creek Texas County, Mo., are living.
