Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in the Public Grounds section, Row 1, with no gravestone. Her maiden name was COEN, or some variation of it, and she was the wife of Isaac COX (1803-1893). The original cemetery reading put Eleanor's birth year at 1801, but through the 1850, 1860, and 1870 censuses her age stays consistent at 46, 56, and 66 years respectively. For this reason I feel her birth year is closer to 1804 or 1805. -Admin.
