MRS. FRY COPELAND DIED THIS MORNING

Mrs. Fry COPELAND passed away at her home at 302 W. Kirkwood street this morning at 7:30 o'clock, following an illness of six months' duration.

Mrs. COPELAND was born April 1 1882 and was thirty-eight years of age at the time of her death. On August 4, 1909 she was united in marriage with Fry COPELAND. to this union was born one child, Lila, who survives.

Besides the sorrowing husband she is survived by an adopted daughter, Ocean, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. GUDGELL, two brothers, Curd, of Rock Island, and Clayton, of Queen City, Mo., a twin sister, Mrs. Nelson GREEN, of Ottowa, Kansas and two sisters, Mrs. Lila NICKOLS and Mrs. Susie GREEN of Burlington.

Mrs. COPELAND has been a devoted wife and mother to her husband and children and the sympathy of the whole community goes out to the sorsowing (sic) family.

Funeral services will be held from the home at 302 Kirkwood street at two o'clock, Friday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Polly. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.

DEATHS

COPELAND, Mrs. Fry--Following an extended illness, at her home, 302 West Kirkwood street, on Wednesday, Nov. 17, Mrs. COPELAND had been brought to her home from the Oakland sanitarium but a few days before.

As the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. GUDGELL, Love M. GUDGELL was born in Fairfield, April 1, 1882. On August 4, 1909, she was united in marriage with Fry COPELAND. To this union was born one child, Lila Mae, who survives.

Besides the sorrowing husband, she is survived by an adopted daughter, Ocean; her father and mother, two brothers, Curd, of Rock Island; Clayton of Queen City, Mo.; a twin sister, Mrs. Nelson GREEN, Ottawa, Kans., and two other sisters, Mrs. Lela NICHOLS and Mrs. Harley GREEN, of Burlington.

Mrs. COPELAND was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and children. In early life she united with the Christian church.

Funeral services will be held at the home this afternoon at two o'clock in charge of R. H. Polly, pastor of the Christian church. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.
