Willard L. COFFIN, 72, of Boise, Idaho, former Fairfield resident, died Monday at a Boise hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Boise with burial there.
COFFIN was born Feb. 28, 1914 in rural Fairfield, the son of John H. and Myrtle WATERS COFFIN, and lived in Fairfield until moving to Boise in the 1930s. He graduated from Fairfield High School.
On Sept. 28, 1938, he married Anna PARANI, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Judith CRUMP, Nancy ELDRED, both of Bosie (sic), Janice OVERTON of Emmett, Idaho; a son, Gary of Boise; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond of Washington, Lester of Boise, Kenneth of Fairfield; two sisters, Mary BOUGHNER of Fairfield and Pearl WAUGH of Selma. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

BOISE, IDAHO -- Willard L. COFFIN, 72, of 4629 Shawnee Way, Boise, died Monday, June 23, in a Boise hospital. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Alden-Waggoner Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Faucher of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating.
COFFIN, a local oil truck driver, was born March 28, 1914, in Fairfield where he grew up and graduated from high school. He moved to Boise in 1936 and was married to Anna PARANI Sept. 28, 1938. He spent the greater part of his life in Idaho.
Survivors include his wife, Anna, of Boise; four children, Janice OVERTON of Letha, Idaho, Gary COFFIN and wife Lois, Judy CRUMP and husband Larry and Nancy ELDRED and husband Wilbur, all of Boise; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond COFFIN of Washington, Kenneth COFFIN of Fairfield and Lester COFFIN of Boise; two sisters, Mary BOUGHNER of Fairfield and Pearl WAUGH of Selma; nieces and nephews.
Flowers are acceptable or memorials may be made to the Elk's Rehabilitation Center, 204 Fort Place, Boise, Idaho, 83702.
