Robert S. COCHRAN, 65, 411 North C Street, died Thursday afternoon at the Jefferson County Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital Wednesday night.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Riggs officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday night from 7 to 8.
COCHRAN was born March 16, 1913 in Fairfield, the son of John H. and Hazel GABBERT COCHRAN. He graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Parsons College. He was married to Florence RANSON July 30, 1934 in Fairfield.
The COCHRANs moved to Lincoln, Neb., in 1943 and to St. Louis, Mo., in 1971. They returned to Fairfield in 1978 following his retirement as a technical director of the business meetings division of Communico Communications Co.
COCHRAN was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his widow, mother and one brother, Richard COCHRAN, all of Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his father and one son.
