Local Rites For COCHRAN Youth

Robert COCHRAN Jr., 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert COCHRAN of Eagle, Neb., former local residents, died Saturday morning at Archbishop Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Neb.

A freshman student at Nebraska Wesleyan College at Lincoln, he had been ill since the middle of December.

Last rites will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Roper Funeral Home in Lincoln. Local services will also be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home. The Rev. S. K. Biffle, Lincoln, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

COCHRAN was born Jan. 14, 1948 at Lincoln, Neb., the son of Robert S. and Florence RANSON COCHRAN. He was a 1966 graduate of Eagle High School.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmothers, Mrs. John COCHRAN, 509 E. Burlington, and Mrs. W. J. RANSON, 504 W. Grimes.

Family, Friends At Last rites

Out - of - town relatives and friends here for funeral services for Robert COCHRAN Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert COCHRAN of Eagle, Neb., were the following:

Mr. and Mrs. Richard COCHRAN of Ripon, Wis., John COCHRAN of Iowa City; Mr. and Mrs. Nick Ryan of Grinnell; Clair CREW of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce CREW of Newton; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth RANSON of Cedar Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. E. H. ASHENBACH of Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. Truman HOBBS of Danville; Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Pendleton of Carman, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Reed Blankenship of Ottumwa; Mr and Mrs. Emil Read of Centerville; Mr. Blanche RANSON of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Mrs. Grace Moxley of Stockport and Mr. and Mrs. Emery Prevo of Libertyville.

Services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with Dr. C. R. Douglass officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
