MRS. SUSAN CLAPP DIED THIS MORNING

Mrs. Susan Kingsley CLAPP died at the home of her daughter Mrs. J. Fred CLARKE at ten o'clock this morning.

Mrs. CLAPP was in her eighty-first year and has been in failing health for some time.

The funeral services will be held at Dr. CLARKE's present residence on South Third street at 6:30 o'clock, Friday evening, and interrment will be in Evergreen cemetery in this city.

Mrs. Susan Kingsley CLAPP passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Fred CLARKE on South Third street yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. She was eighty years of age and had been in poor health for some time. The funeral services will be held from the Dr. CLARKE residence tomorrow evening at 6:30.

MRS. SUSAN CLAPP BURIED FRIDAY

The funeral services of Mrs. Susan CLAPP were held at the residence of Dr. J. Fred CLARKE Friday afternoon. A large company of friends were present to pay a farewell tribute to the departed much beloved friend and neighbor, Mrs. L. C. CLARK, a sister of Mrs. J. F. CLARKE, was present, Dr. W. E. Parsons the officiating minister paid a beautiful tribute to the life and character of the deceased, Mrs. Leslie Harper sang in a very impressive manner, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought." Interment was made in Evergreen(.)
