MARY CHAPIUS (sic) DIES MONDAY
Cedar Township Woman Spent Whole Life In This County

Mrs. Mary CHAPIUS (sic - CHAPUIS), wife of Peter P. CHAPIUS, resident of Cedar Township, passed away Monday afternoon at 4:30, in her home.

She was born on December 30, 1864, in Jefferson County, where she has lived all her life. Her death at the age of 73 (sic - 72) followed that of her husband, which occurred in July, 1934, and that of her son, Lee, in October of the same year.

She is survived by four sons: Clay, Louis, Walter, and Ray; two daughters, Mrs. Flora BRYAN and Mrs. Iola JOHNSON; and one brother, Mrs. (sic) Joseph DROZ.

Services will be held at the Murray Funeral Home on Thursday, December 2, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. S. P. Williamson officiating. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.
