V. CERVANTES dies at age 88

Victoriana CERVANTES, 88, Route 3, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday at her home.

Graveside rites are tentatively scheduled for Saturday with Behner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. CERVANTES was born Dec. 25, 1898 in Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Felix and Eduwigis HERNANDEZ SANCHEZ. She married Jose CERVANTES Aug. 20, 1960 in Eldon. He died June 10, 1967. A homemaker, she had lived in Fairfield for the last 19 years and before that in Eldon.

Surviving are a daughter, Maria ZARAGOZA, Fairfield; three grandsons, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Five sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.

V. CERVANTES rites Saturday

Graveside rites for Victoriana CERVANTES, 88, Route 3, who died Wednesday at her home, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. William Sullivan officiating. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight at Behner Funeral Home.

CARD OF THANKS

We wish to thank all of our friends and relatives for the cards, flowers and food we received on the death of my mother, Victoria CERVANTES. Special thanks to Dr. Watson, Fred Behner and Fairfield Flower Shop for the arrangements. Also to Father Sullivan and to the ladies that helped out at the dinner at St. Mary's. Thank you.
