ROSA E. CECIL
Rosa E. CECIL, better known in Fairfield as Rosie PRICE, passed away at the Sunnyslope sanitarium at 3:30 oclock yesterday morning. She had been in poor health for the past four years and seriously ill for two weeks.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Hoskins funeral home with interment in Evergreen cemetery.
Until six months ago she made her home in Fairfield at that time moving to Ottumwa. Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Fred PRICE, one granddaughter, Betty Rose PRICE, two brothers Fred ANTHONY of Fairfield and Harry ANTHONY of Lincoln, Neb. Also one uncle, Julius MILLER of Superior, Ariz.

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Rosa E. PRICE CECIL formerly Rose A. PRICE, Deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson county, and that Monday, November 9th, A. D. 1931 at 2 oclock p.m., has been set for proof and final hearing of same.
Witness my hand and the seal of said Court this 14th day of October, 1931.

ROSA PRICE CECIL
Rose Emma PRICE CECIL as born in Richmond, Mo., June 10, 1879 (sic - 1878) and departed this life October 11, 1931 in the Ottumwa hospital at 3:30 oclock Sunday morning.
Mrs. CECIL came to Fairfield as a small child with her parents and has made this city her home until six months ago. She was married to Tom PRICE in 1893 and to this union there were two children born, one son, Fred PRICE of Fairfield and a daughter, Hazel May ALLEN, who preceded her in death. She was united with the A. M. E. church in her early life and she was always true in her belief in God. Through her four years of suffering she was very patient and faithful and was prepared to meet her God.
March 18, 1931, she was married to Tom CECIL. She leaves to mourn, her husband, one son and a granddaughter. Also two brothers and a daughter-in-law, who has cared for her during the last six months of her illness.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 oclock from the Hoskins funeral home in charge of Rev. J. W. Wiley of Ottumwa assisted by Rev. Allen of Fairfield. Music was furnished by Mrs. Fannie Allen, Mrs. Ida Thompson, Mrs. May McGill accompanied by Mrs. Anna Jordan.
Pallbearers were L. Benning, James Ellington, George Johnson, Lem Morris, William Smith and Theo Lemaster.
