CAVINESS BABY PASSED AWAY LAST EVENING

Leland Stanford, the eighteen months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Manley (sic - Mandley) CAVINESS died at 4:30 p.m. yesterday, after an illness of about seven weeks with whooping cough and pneumonia.

At times it would seem as if the little one was better and might recover but soon a change would come, dashing the hopes of the anxious and heart broken parents to the ground. The sympathy of all goes out to these young parents in their sore affliction.

Funeral services will be held at the home on East Washington at 2 p.m. Saturday.

LELAND CAVINESS SUCCUMBS TO PNEUMONIA

Leland Stanford CAVINESS, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Manley CAVINESS, passed away at four o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his parents on East Washington street.

The little boy had been ill with pneumonia for seven weeks. He was born in this city, September 28, 1912.

The funeral services will be held at two o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home and will be conducted by Rev. Thomas Osborn of Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
