MRS. CAVINESS DIED AT 1:30
Body Taken to Hoskins Funeral Home; No Arrangements MadeMrs. Elizabeth Jane CAVINESS, widow of Eli K. CAVINESS, passed away at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at her home, 404 North B street. She had been in poor health for the past four years and seriously ill for several days.
The body was taken to the Hoskins Funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
Mrs. CAVINESS was born February 2, 1854 and was a well known resident. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. C. R. KING and Mrs. W. E. RAINS of Fairfield, Mrs. J. A. LARSON of Marshfield, Ore.; L. C. CAVINESS and J. E. CAVINESS of Chicago, Ill. and Mandley C. CAVINESS of Fairfield. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Richard FISHER and Mrs. X. NADY, Sr. of Fairfield and J. E. FISHER of Ottumwa, thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. E. K. CAVINESS who passed away at 1:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home, 404 North B street, will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the Hoskins Funeral Home. Dr. U. S. Smith of the First Methodist church will have charge. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.

Funeral Held at Hoskins Funeral Home This MorningMany relatives and friends gathered at the Hoskins Funeral Home this morning to pay their last respect to Mrs. E. K. CAVINESS. The services were conducted at 10 o'clock with Dr. U. S. Smith of the Methodist church officiating.
Mrs. W. H. Bryant sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere' and 'Old Rugged Cross' accompanied on the piano by Mrs. I. N. Crow. The floral offerings were beautiful and profuse.
Pallbearers were Lewis CAVINESS, Roland FISHER, Glenn RAINS Donald RAINS, George Lookebe and Mandley CAVINESS, Jr. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.
Out-of-town relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland CAVINESS and Mr. and Mrs. Emery CAVINESS of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Emery FISHER of Ottumwa
