In 1890 she came to Fairfield, Iowa with her brother John where she has spent the greater part of her life. She was united in marriage to Walker N. LAUGHRIGE, February 1, 1893. Her husband preceded her in death June 6, 1907. To this union were born four cildren, two dying in infancy.

On August 27, 1919 she was united in marriage to G. A. CASTILE. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, two sons, Clarence R. LAUGHRIGE; Conroy Iowa; Robert S. LAUGHRIGE, Keokuk, Iowa; one grandson, Bobby Joe LAUGHRIGE; one step-daughter, Mrs. John STOUT, Keosauqua, Iowa; three step-sons, Roy CASTILE Fairfield, Iowa, Harlan CASTILE, Panora, Iowa; Arthur CASTILE, Detroit, Michigan and seven step grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Annie E. Mrs. CASTILE was a true wife, an ideal mother; self-sacrificing loving and tender, always thinking of others. About fifteen years ago she was converted and united with the M. E. church. Her close friends will always remember the sweet christian experience, "When Jesus came into her heart."

Note: Buried in Lot SDiv.4-003, with first husband Walker N. LAUGHRIGE. Her gravestone notes she was born in 1867, however her age in several census records indicates an 1866 birth; she was a little older than her second husband Gustavous A. CASTILE, who is also buried in Evergreen Cemetery, but with his first wife Lillian KAUFFMAN CASTILE.
