MRS. GUS CASTILE PASSED AWAY HERE LAST EVENING

Mrs. Gus CASTILE passed away in this city last evening about 7:30 o'clock after an illness of several months duration. She suffered from a complication of diseases and her condition hos (sic) been serious for some time.

Mrs. CASTILE was born February 18th, 1870 at Four corners and has always made her home in this county.

On February 25, 1891, Miss KAUFFMAN was united in marriage to Gus A. CASTILE, who, with four children, are left to mourn her loss. They are, Ethel, Arthur, Harlan and Roy, Harlan being stationed at Camp Dodge, but who, with the rest of the children were at her bedside. She is also survived by one brother, Edward KAUFFMAN, and one sister, Mrs. O. H. SHERMAN, both of Lockridge.

She was a faithful member of the Methodist church and an active member of the Wesleyan Bible Class.

The funeral services will be held from the home at ten o clock Friday morning in charge of Rev. W. R. Keesey of the Methodist church, and interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Note: Buried in Lot 3rd.024. Husband Gustavous Adolphus CASTILE subsequently married to Margaret F. COPELAND LAUGHRIGE, died in 1949, and is buried with Lillian. Margaret is buried with her LAUGHRIGE husband, also in Evergreen Cemetery.
